Product Description
Air Charge Temperature Sensors measure the air temperature entering the engine and sends this information to the vehicle’s onboard computer (Powertrain Control Module or PCM). The PCM uses this information to estimate air density, allowing it to balance the air and fuel ratio. Hot air is less dense than cold air, so each type of environment requires a specific air and fuel mixture.
